Ascension Trilogy Update

We all were raised that making time for ourselves, or our craft, should be put off until we have time to do it. We hear about the finances and the pish-posh bull-crap excuses on why we shouldn’t do it. Will you make any money from it? How much will it cost you to do it? You should clean your house first. You should be fixing this or that. Before we know it time has slipped through our fingers and eleven years go by.
Yes, I was defeated by a scammer for quite some time. That was hardly an excuse to let so much time dry out around me.

I did it. I made the time. I put in the effort.
And, I learned that its just as important to show up for yourself. It was easy to get lost in the noise. Drowned in the tasks of being an adult. I pivoted and turned my hobby into a job.
I will make money from this.
I will be able to pay for the cost of my work and support my family.
This is my career choice.

Update:
The Ascension Trilogy is well on its way to being published.
Wicked Soul Ascension is getting a face lift. New cover and I am fixing a few problems that readers had pointed out. I respect my readers opinions and they made a very good point about the starting. This is getting fixed.
Mortal Soul Ascension is waiting on a sample edit from an editor. And then professional edits will be started.
And the third book is well on its way to being fully typed out. The first draft is completed written in a notebook and is being transcribed into text in a word doc. (title will be released at a later time)

While all of that is being done I am putting together a proposal for artists. I am in the market for a book designer; cover and formatting. I am also making a proposal for a brand artist to make me sketches for merch. I have a few artists in mind that are taking on projects at the time. I seriously can not wait to see what the artists come up with. In the proposal I am asking for art that can be used on stickers, bookmarks, and other fun merch.

Conclusion:
With all this in the works I have found myself creating a immersive social media presence. All though, I have to admit it is my weakest skill. I struggle to put together posts. I do love replying to comments and chatting with others. Posts though are hard. Not impossible. I am able to do this! I can do hard things. I will not let this discourage me from putting my works out there. My books will be published. And then, I will publish more. I will keep growing as an author and a writer. Each day new skills will be unlocked and practiced.
